Airbnb refused to remove a blatantly incorrect review—what’s my next move?
Hey hosts, Looking for some advice. A recent guest left a negative review claiming my place was advertised as a **“1-BHK with a Persian cat”** when my listing has always said **private room in a 3-bedroom apartment with a shared bathroom** (it’s in the header, the first line of the description, and in the photos). What I did so far: * Collected screenshots of the header, description, bullet points, and the “Shared full bathroom” photo caption. * Even got an Airbnb support agent on chat who confirmed it’s clearly listed as a 3-BHK. * Bundled everything into one PDF and filed a review-removal request, citing the “Relevance & Accuracy” clause. Airbnb’s reply: *“Review follows content policy.”* That’s it—case closed. Anyone here managed to overturn a denial like this? Should I push for an escalation to the “Reviews Integrity” team, or try a shorter, punchier appeal? And if they still won’t budge, what’s the best way to respond publicly without sounding defensive? Appreciate any tips—thanks!
