Does anyone else skip lunch while traveling?

Very often when I'm traveling by myself, I will eat breakfast at the hotel, then skip lunch (or possibly just eat a protein bar in the afternoon), and then eat a late dinner (8 or 9pm). This gives me the maximum amount of time during the day to do stuff. It's also not possible to find a place to eat lunch if I'm hiking in a national park or something. But I will often skip lunch even if I'm just walking around a city and there are plenty of places to eat. --- **Post Details:** - **Subreddit:** r/solotravel - **Author:** u/unknownaccount1 - **Score:** 174 upvotes - **Upvote Ratio:** 82.0% - **Comments:** 154 - **Posted:** 6/28/2025 - **URL:** https://reddit.com/r/solotravel/comments/1lmtiw9/does_anyone_else_skip_lunch_while_traveling/
