Guest kept home very clean, but….

I have been very lucky with guests. The last group do 4 checked out today and I headed to the house to clean. While sweeping up I noticed something that looked like a clear screw cap off an eyedrop bottle so I picked it up. Well, it stuck me and I took a closer look and there was a needle in the end. I messaged the guest and asked him what it was because it stuck me. He said it was the needle off a child’s insulin shot but he also said he dropped it so it wasn’t used. But that does not make sense to me. Anyway I also went upstairs and noticed that a table was damaged with red stains and asked him what that was and he said it was NyQuil. It ruined the top of the table. Other than that the house was perfect and they took very good care of everything. So what would you do? I’m just kind of shaking my head with no point of reference. I feel like I should be really upset and do something but I’m kind of not.
