Have you ever made anything for your listing?

Hey everyone!   Being a creative soul, I want to bring back one of my favourite topics I've seen here on the Community Center because it was such a hit last time and honestly, who doesn't love a bit of creative inspiration?    Have you ever made something special for your listing?   Maybe you painted a mural, built a coffee table, sewed some curtains, or crafted a welcome sign… No matter how big or small, I want to see and hear all about it! Plus, it’s always fun to peek behind the scenes at the unique touches that make each Airbnb so special.    Share your creativity! Drop a photo of your handmade masterpiece (or masterpieces!) in the comments. Tell us the story behind it; what inspired you, how it turned out, and how guests have reacted.   Whether it’s a Pinterest success or a “nailed it!” fail, I want to see it all! ----- Please follow the Community Guidelines We made this bookshelf out of glued together and painted MDF with some metal brackets strengthening the corners. The flower pattern at the back is just wallpaper. Those are old books of ours (we read a lot) but an alternative would be just to buy a load of cheap books from a charity shop.  It's a bit wonky, but it gives the hallway it's in some character and makes the place look more homely. Our guests often comment on it. Graeme. Oh I love a bookcase @Graeme144 - this is really lovely. The wallpaper adds a really lovely touch too! Is that a little furniture set I spot too? ----- Please follow the Community Guidelines As a photographer, I have pictures that I printed and had framed. The images themselves feature various historical and/or areas of interest that are significant the centuries old town my listing is located. I have styled them as a small montage of frames on a livingroom wall, and  placed 2 others that are diaplayed (standing frames) in my glass-front wall cabinet. This may sound bigger and more hyped than it is... it's a simple offering but it's my personal touch (versus store-bought framed art). I love that @Dani12527 - it's so personal to you and your art. Do you have some examples of the photographs that you put up?  ----- Please follow the Community Guidelines @Rebecca Realizing I have more than 2 in the cabinet. ‌‌ I have added some purposefully placed blue, gray and a couple black hardcover books to the tops shelves as well since this picture was taken (it's not as empty as it appears here) I made macramé wall hangings for both my Airbnb's.
