Positive post :)

We usually come here when we have problems and/or questions, which can make hosting seem rather bleak to new and perspective hosts. So today I wanted to share a very positive experience I just had. I host a shared accommodation and my guest booked for 7 nights. After staying for only 2 nights he informed me that he had a change of plans and is checking out, which was this morning. He thanked me for a lovely stay in great detail and didn’t ask for any type of refund for unused nights, as I have a strict cancellation policy. This isn’t the first time this happened either, most guests who leave early don’t ask for what they’re not due. Just a little reminder that most guests are kind and reasonable people :) --- **Post Details:** - **Subreddit:** r/AirBnBHosts - **Author:** u/LacyTing - **Score:** 14 upvotes - **Upvote Ratio:** 89.0% - **Comments:** 6 - **Posted:** 6/25/2025 - **URL:** https://reddit.com/r/AirBnBHosts/comments/1ljp21z/positive_post/
