Traveling with a dog from Bali (adopted)
So I am in a situation right now. I am in Bali (Indonesia) and found a puppy in a plastic bag in the trash, which I’m taking care of right now. It seems to be extremely difficult to find a home for her here in Bali. I also rescued a tiny kitten on a busy road a few days prior. I truly believe that it was meant to be seen the combination of circumstances. Luckily I found a foster home for her within a few hours through Reddit. It seems like people are way more hesitant about dogs because my posts here and on Instagram get almost no replies, whereas with the kitty there were tons. Shelters are full or simply don’t reply. The staff at my accommodation are the sweetest and loved the kitten and puppy. They help me out with things I need to get for her. I am preparing myself for the worst case scenario - not finding a home for her in Indonesia. How difficult is it to bring a dog to the Netherlands/Europe? She is only 2 months old so I’ll have to wait for the rabies vaccine and titer. Visa is max 60 days. I am here already for 2 weeks. My plan is to travel in Asia for the upcoming 5 to 6 months. Also I am a person that travels a lot but I also see people bringing their pet babies with them. I guess it’s way more complicated and requires a lot of preparation compared to traveling alone. So things are getting really complicated right now. Does anyone have some advice?
