Unannounced Dogs

Looking for advice I’ve been a host for 4 years. First time I’ve ever had a situation with unannounced pets. Saw on our security cameras the new group has 2 big dogs they didn’t tell us about. We normally charge $150 per pet. Our normal rate is $1000 per night and that’s what they’re paying. We are super hosts and our rating is very important to us. Do I: A. Message them and raise the issue B. Just ignore it C. Something else It’s not really about the money. It’s More that we made a bunch of concession for them and I’m kind of frustrated in general so this was an added annoyance. Thanks everyone! --- **Post Details:** - **Subreddit:** r/airbnb_hosts - **Author:** u/Glass_Telephone_9140 - **Score:** 16 upvotes - **Upvote Ratio:** 73.0% - **Comments:** 45 - **Posted:** 7/8/2025 - **URL:** https://reddit.com/r/airbnb_hosts/comments/1lu8yrk/unannounced_dogs/
