What do you do with leftover food?

Hi If it's unopened can or bottles of drinks I keep it for myself if it's food/condiments and opened i toss it. The hard calls are like my last group I don't know why they bought 3 cucumbers and only ate one the other two wrapped. They also left some dessert that look in original packaging and untouched. One side i don't want to throw out but other side I don't know what happened to it and don't want to eat it. I know some airbnbs I been to left stuff like open condiments from previous guests but that's a hard no for me as I can't guarantee that it's 100% safe.
